Zunaira Ali Khan is a PhD Researcher in Criminology at the University of Hull, United Kingdom, where her doctoral research focuses on intelligence-led policing and human trafficking. She holds a Master’s degree in Intelligence and Security Studies from the University of Salford and a Master’s degree in Diplomacy and Strategic Studies. Her pioneering research on the role of women in intelligence has made her one of the first South Asian scholars to explore this important area of intelligence studies.
Her research interests span intelligence studies, intelligence-led policing, organised crime, human trafficking, human rights, human security, security governance, and international security. She has contributed to academic and policy debates through conference presentations, peer-reviewed publications, and policy-oriented research on intelligence, transnational organised crime, and contemporary security challenges. Her work seeks to bridge the gap between academic research and policy practice by developing evidence-informed approaches to crime prevention, policing, and security governance.
