Muhammad Qasim

Muhammad Qasim is a UK‑based researcher specialising in Peace, Conflict, and Development. He holds an MA in Peace, Conflict and Development from the University of Bradford and an MSc in Peace and Conflict Studies from the National University of Modern Languages in Islamabad, Pakistan.

He has a strong background in policy research, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement, and currently contributes to UK nuclear policy analysis at the Nuclear Information Service. His experience includes political engagement and campaigning, with work in a Member of Parliament’s office and participation in major advocacy initiatives with Oxfam. He has also served as an election observer both in the UK and internationally in the Netherlands.

Qasim has published research on political engagement and regional integration in South Asia and has presented his work at the Young Pugwash Conference at King’s College London. His research interests include defence policy, strategic affairs, and UK foreign policy.
