Ms Huma Rehman

Non-Resident Fellow, London Dialogue
Ms Huma Rehman is the Executive Director of the Global Center for Security and Emerging Technologies (GCSET) and a Senior Consultant with the Consultancy for Resilience, Economics, Strategy, and Technology (CREST).
A nuclear security and strategic studies specialist, she previously served as a Research Fellow at the James Martin Center for Non-Proliferation Studies (CNS), Middlebury Institute of International Studies, Washington D.C., and at Sandia National Laboratories, Albuquerque, New Mexico. She has also served as Associate Research Director at the Center for International Strategic Studies (CISS), under the Strategic Plans Division (SPD), Islamabad.
Ms Rehman holds an IAEA certificate in Nuclear Safeguards and has completed nuclear security training modules at King’s College London and the Asser Institute, The Hague. She has presented research at international forums including the IAEA and the Institute of Nuclear Materials Management (INMM), and is a member of the Emerging Voices Network (EVN) under the BASIC UK Forum and the Black Sea Women in Nuclear Network (BSWNN). She teaches Strategic Studies as a Visiting Lecturer, and has participated in Track II dialogues between Pakistan and India. Her published work includes book chapters, newspaper commentary, and contributions to international policy forums.
At London Dialogue, Ms Rehman’s expertise strengthens the institute’s research across its Nuclear Politics, Nuclear Safety and Security, and Advanced and Emerging Technologies programmes.
