Dr Aamna Khan — Non‑Resident Fellow
Dr Aamna Khan is a scholar of international relations specialising in regional security, peacebuilding, conflict mediation, and global governance. She holds a PhD in International Relations from Jilin University, China, and has conducted extensive research and policy analysis on the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, China–Gulf relations, South Asian security, and emerging multipolarity. Her work has appeared in academic journals and international policy platforms, including The Diplomat, CGTN, and Modern Diplomacy.
Dr Khan was recently selected as an InteRussia Fellow at the prestigious MGIMO University in Russia, where she examined academic diplomacy and knowledge competition in contemporary international affairs. She also serves as Editor‑in‑Chief and Guest Editor for several international journals, contributing to scholarly discourse and editorial leadership.
Alongside her research and editorial roles, she has actively participated in international youth and academic initiatives, engaging in global conferences, leadership programmes, and cross‑cultural dialogue platforms that promote international cooperation and knowledge exchange.
Her current research focuses on regional security, conflict mediation, academic diplomacy, and the role of emerging powers in shaping the future international order. Through her scholarship and public engagement, she aims to bridge academic research with policy discussions on contemporary global challenges.
