Abdullah Bin Abbas

Abdullah has joined London Dialogue as an Assistant Researcher | Finance Officer.

Abdullah Bin Abbas is serving as an Assistant Researcher and Finance Officer at London Dialogue. He is currently pursuing an LLM in International Law at the University of Essex. His research and analytical expertise spans the Revolution in Military Affairs (RMA), Middle Eastern politics, international security, and nuclear studies. He also possesses substantial knowledge of counterinsurgency (COIN), Countering Violent Extremism (CVE), deradicalization, terrorism, and strategic studies. He serves as the head of the Society of Rational Minds Pakistan, an initiative dedicated to countering religious extremism and promoting rational inquiry, critical thinking, and intellectual development. Abdullah has gained significant professional experience at the Supreme Court of Pakistan, where he worked alongside senior legal experts engaged in human rights advocacy. He has also served as a Research Associate at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan, contributing to in-depth research and the preparation of policy briefs. In addition, he has been an active participant in various research and policy think tanks in Islamabad, where he further refined his organisational and collaborative skills. He remains committed to advancing international justice and strengthening global security frameworks.
